PROBLEM: |
Batch mixing of 2,000 gallon volumes of carbomer in water using just turbine mixers is very time consuming and final mixture becomes aerated and off speck "fish eye" lumps occur. |

RESULT: |
At liquid feed rate in excess at 40 gpm, the batch mixing vessel is fed with a 3-4% by weight carbomer dispersion requiring less than one hour to make up a 2,000 gallon batch. |
