| OBJECT: | Disperse Guar Gum to stabilize coal slurry. | PROBLEM: | Guar Gum agglomerates and forms lumps. Coal slurry dispersion equipment not capable of wetting out this difficult stabilizer. | SOLUTION: | Model D-1000 Dispershear in pilot plant/D-6000 in production are used to disperse Guar Gum in water. Complete dispersion is then mixed in with coal slurry. | AB MIXER: | Model D-1000 Dispershear | | BENEFITS: | Lumps removed which could cause burner nozzle plugging. Coal slurry stabilized so that transportation and storage is possible. |
