OBJECT: | Produce a stable stiff gel that will hold hair straightening chemicals on hair without running down into eyes. | PROBLEM: | Gels are made with a light powder polyacrylic resin known as Carbopol (carbomer) that floats on surfaces. | RESULTS: | Light powder is drawn in and wetted out using down mode. Gel is homogenized with triethanolamine and then straightening chemical. | AB MIXER: | Model C-3-2 Reversible Homogenizer. | EQUIPMENT REPLACED | Propeller mixers. |
