MALTODEXTRIN

OBJECT:

Prepare new maltodextrin based drink product.

PROBLEM:

Maltodextrin more difficult to disperse than granular sugar and requires shear to obtain complete dissolution quickly.

SOLUTION:

30% by weight maltodextrin quickly dispersed with down-mode and then completely dissolved in five minutes in a 125 gallon batch.
