OBJECT:

Continuously emulsify 60% vegetable oil, 40% dairy product with additives at 140 deg. F in step of margarine making process.

PROBLEM:

Propeller mixer did not produce acceptable pre-emulsification so that final process step (piston homogenizer) did not produce acceptable stable product.

RESULT:

Excellent results obtained.  Emulsifies continuously.  Operates with continuous feeding, constant level in tank and continuous discharge.

AB MIXER:

Model C-2 in 100 gallon tank.  

EQUIPMENT REPLACED:

Propeller mixer.
