MATERIAL:

Orange peels

PROBLEM:

Slurry grind orange peels in water.

RESULTS:

 Quarters of orange peels were added one at a time as Dicon recirculated water to tank.  After one pass, pieces were 100% minus 3/16".

AB MIXER:

Model 3 x 1.5 toothed impeller/liner, 7.5 HP, 3600 RPM, 1/4" grid.  Vertically mounted underneath tank.
