Description 

MATERIAL:

Proprietary highly absorbent starch.  Lumpy premix of starch, polyacrylic nitrile in water.  Consistency like lumpy oatmeal.  1" lumps.

PROBLEM:

Delump slurry

RESULTS:

Easily delumped.  Smooth slurry obtained.

AB MIXER:

Model 3 x 1.5 toothed impeller/liner, 5 HP, 3600 RPM, 1/8" grid.  

BENEFITS: Lumps must be broken up as mix is discharged from reactor or they will form very hard agglomerates that must be screened out and sent to landfill.  Dicon eliminates product loss and screen step.
