PROBLEM:

Dispersion of carbomer powder into 1,000 gallon batches required 8 hours mixing time to obtain required smoothness. Plan to expand manufacturing facility with eight new 1,000 gallon mixing tanks was in progress.

RESULTS:

A smooth 2.5% dispersion was obtained in 1/2 hour.
