OBJECT:	Fine grain emulsion. 30% wgt. of solution consisting of (70% "Piccopale" resin and 30% solvent), 39% wgt. Polyvinyl Acetate and 22% water.
PROBLEM:	Provide excellent emulsion.
SOLUTION:	Placed mixer in solvent and added resin into down-mode vortex for 2 mins. to obtain solution. Added Polyvinyl Acetate into vortex and down-mode for 5 mins. until viscosity reached 20,000 cps. Then added water into vortex and operated mixer in both up and down-modes for 5 mins. Very satisfactory emulsion with desired viscosity of 750 cps.
