Description 

OBJECT:

Carbopol 934 at 3% concentration in water.  

PROBLEM:

 Provide dispersion and neutralize without forming "fish eyes". 

RESULT:

 Placed mixer in water and started in down-mode.  Added Carbopol into down vortex and predispersed for 2 minutes.  Then, ran in up-mode 5 minutes.  Neutralized.  Made clear gel.

AB MIXER:

CJ-4B plus two C-3-2, 60" immersion, 20 HP explosion proof motor.

EQUIPMENT REPLACED:

 Agi-Mixer.
