Description 

MATERIAL:

Carbowax.  Proplylene glycol and Carbopol 934.

PROBLEM:

Disperse Carbopol down stream from eductor.  Eductor pump fed with liquid.  Carbopol sucked into liquid by eductor.

RESULTS:

Carbopol immediately wetted out.  No larger agglomerates.

AB MIXER:

Model 3 x 1.5 toothed impeller/liner, 7.5 HP, 3600 RPM, 1/16" grid.  

BENEFITS: Dusty Carbopol did not have to be added by operator at top of tank.  Dispersion could be made on ground floor and pumped up to sealed processing tank.
