Agricultural flowable, Herbicide.

PROBLEM:

Premix and disperse flowable to 100% minus 100 mesh.  Avoid settling and plugging in subsequent fine grinding step.

RESULT:

AB MIXER:

Model 6 x 3, toothed impeller/liner, 30 HP, 3600 RPM, 1/8" grid.  Installed in recirculation loop to 5,000 gallon mixing tank.

1.  Batch time reduced by 50% (2-3 hours instead of 4-6 hours).
2.  Solid settling and plugging problems eliminated
3.  2 deg. F rise across the Dicon.  This totals 4 deg. F rise in the
     5,000 gallon batch after 2-3 hours of recirculation.
4.  Premix step is prior to a final grinding to 10 microns in an Attritor.
