OBJECT:	Produce a stable stiff gel that will hold hair straightening chemicals on hair without running down into eyes.
PROBLEM:	Gels are made with a light powder polyacrylic resin known as Carbopol (carbomer) that floats on surfaces.
RESULTS:	Light powder is drawn in and wetted out using down mode. Gel is homogenized with triethanolamine and then straightening chemical.
AB MIXER:	Model C-3-2 Reversible Homogenizer.
EQUIPMENT REPLACED	Propeller mixers.
