Aqueous phase is 28% by weight acrylic amide in water.  Oil phase is hydrocarbon and surfactant.

PROBLEM:

Produce emulsion continuously.   

RESULTS:

Produced 5-10 micon emulsion in one pass.  With recycling, produced 2-3 micron stable emulsion.

AB MIXER:

Model 6 x 3, toothed impeller/liner, 10 HP, 1800 RPM, 3/8" grid.  Gear pump feeding Dicon from agitated reactor.
