Tedlar (DuPont) plastic in Dimethyl Acetamide.

PROBLEM:

Disperse and wet 1/8" x 1/32" x 1-2 mil. thick flakes of Tedlar in 40% by weight Tedlar/Dimethyl Acetamide solution.

RESULTS:

Wetted and dispersed flakes at 40% solids in Dimethyl Acetamide with 25 gpm recirculation rate.

AB MIXER:

Model 6 x 3, toothed impeller/liner, 10 HP, 1800 RPM, 1/8" grid.  Vertically mounted under tank with slow moving agitator.
