Description 

MATERIAL:

1.  Rubbery chips, 1/16" thick x 1/8-1/4" x 1/4-1/2".
2.  Clear rubber pellets:  1/16" diameter, 1/4" long.

PROBLEM:

Grind chips and pellets in solvent to provide fast dissolving.    

RESULT:

 Dicon pumped and recirculated both products.

AB MIXER:

Model 6 x 3, toothed impeller/liner, 10 HP, 1800 RPM, 1/4" grid. 
In recirculation loop to process vessel.

BENEFITS Dissolving speeded.  Dissolving time of 4 hours reduced to 1 hour.  No gel specks in finished liquid resin.

EQUIPMENT REPLACED:

 Propeller mixer.
