PROBLEM: | This long chain polymer forms very sticky and difficult to disperse lumps if mixing is not done efficiently at the beginning. High shear will harm this product after it is wetted out. |
SOLUTIONS: | Model D-1000 Dispershear to continuously wet out 5-10 pound batches. Unit installed above 500 gallon tank with axial flow turbine mixer. Small portion of 500 gallons of water is used to wet the polyacrylamide which is then gently stirred into tank and allowed to age. |
